36 people start in what would be the biggest tournament yet. A new venue was featured this year offering a little more breathing room.

6 tables of six started out. After the first few hours, only one person had been eliminated. A few people are starting to gain ground after the first break. Catered with delicious BBQ, the players rebuild their steam and start out.

Soon after 11:00 ante's up to $20, a final table is established: Robert, Frank, John, Carlos, Kevin, Frank, and Rocco.

Robert has a pair of pocket aces, goes all in - but is beaten by 2 pair (and beaten by the same person that beat him the second year - Read Big Easy II summary.) The field is narrowed down to six. Rocco goes out next. 5 left... Frank, who started the final table with a lot of the money, doesn't catch a break, and is forced out. Kevin, betting big, gets caught in some rough hands. Final three people are left, Frank goes all in with the flush, And is beaten by a higher ranking flush. He gets 3rd place title as well as being the first one this year to have gotten 4 of a kind.

At 2:00 AM, John and Carlos playing Texas Hold'em, which some say is the last true form of poker left, pay some money to see the flop. Each then bet to see the turn card. Carlos has a potential open ended straight, john has three of a kind. A conservative bet made, and the river hits... Carlos made his straight and goes all-in. John, chip lead by about $1,000, calls as he had hit the full house on 5th Street.

John wins the title and the biggest reward yet!
