Tournament III2002

22 people start in what would be one of the most entertaining days in each of their lives. Two tables of six, two tables of 5 start playing after the first few hours there are still 20 people left. The game seems to be moving slowly, no one losing or gaining much ground. The betters are conservative, each one vying for the #1 status. At the 2nd round, some action starts to happen, a few more people drop out. After dinner, three tables are convened, and the game continues. As the ante continues to raise, the players continue to drop.

At 11:15, the field is narrowed down to three. Brad, Perry, and Greg. The money shuffles around until Brad is forced all-in and loses.

Greg and Perry battle it out... at 1:18AM, after 12 hours of playing, it's 7-card stud. In a first for the tournament, after a big bet on First Street Perry goes all in on the second card he bets $1,450. Greg calls and counts his money... he also had $1,450! They were exactly tied at that point. The Cards hit and Perry ends up with a flush and also three queens. Greg's luck ran out with just a pair of nines. This is the second time a pair of nines has bitten the 2nd place person at the tournament (Read the Big Easy II Summary.)

Perry ultimately wins the Money and the Prestige!
