Number nine of the Big Easy Tournament went off without a hitch! But let's Fast forward to the Good Stuff exclamation. 43 people started out, enjoying yet again the camaraderie, fellowship, jests, and hazing that accompanies any good social card game on steroids.

Brett B has the honor of being the $1 winner! Don't laugh... 37 other people got nothing but a goose egg... but they ALL win since they are at the Big Easy Tournament, where everyone is a winner! And the early ones out get to be the first ones in the cash game!

So our first Four of a Kind Side Pot goes to Richard F!

After dinner, the game gets serious and we end up with our final table. Present and accounted for include: Cary, Carlos, Kerry, Lance A, Kevin, Duff, and Al G.

Lance and Kevin get knocked out, but did have a respectable finish.

5th place goes to Cary who just couldn't hold on any longer.

4th place goes to Duff, which is amazing that he hung in for so long. Mainly because most would have doubted his strategy of "All-In" on every hand would have worked as well as it did! The author believes that Duff was more enticed by the proposition of losing and going to sleep rather than being the Big Easy Tournament Champion!

3rd place goes to Carlos, though I doubt he remembers much after dinner time... Certainly he will read this later and get excited that he was even AT the tournament!

Final showdown between Kerry and Al G with the final prize going to... Al G! Not sure where he hid his rabbit's foot, but I don't want to know! He claims the prestigious title of being the Big Easy Tournament IX Champion!
